Bill Freeman felt called to the ministry on his birthday in 2001, his birthday is 9-11. He was baptized in 2003, on December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day. And he was assigned to preach his first sermon in seminary on April 1, 2004, April Fools' Day. He hopes all those days and dates mean his ministry will always be about justice, peace and never taking himself too seriously. He has marched for world peace, lobbied Congress to pass the Hate Crimes Law, lobbied the state legislature to pass anti-bullying legislation and been arrested for civil disobedience in his support of gay rights. His support for justice has been reported by NPR, Michigan Radio and newspapers across the country.

In addition to leading Sunday Services, he offers Pastoral Care for people in need of an empathetic ear and Spiritual Direction for those who want to examine their life. He's available by appointment at (616) 796-5598. He also performs Weddings (religious, nonreligious and inter-religious; opposite and same-sex).And he conducts Recommitment Ceremonies (to renew sacred vows); Baby Blessings (children and adult ones too); Divorce Ceremonies (to bring closure to a relationship); and Memorial Services (to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of a religious or nonreligious person). Contact him anytime for whatever you might need.   Bill Freeman Press Muskegon Chronicle 1.23.2012 Michigan Public Radio 1.23.2012 Mukegon Chronicle 1.14.2012 Muskegon Chronicle 12.14.2012
