We will explore the Good Samaritan through a Unitarian Universalist lens: not as doctrine to accept, but as wisdom to consider together. Jesus is asked, “Who is my neighbor?” Rather than giving a definition, he tells a story about a dangerous road, a wounded traveler, and an unexpected act of mercy. We will reflect on what this story may still ask of us today, while honoring the many beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences present in our congregation.
